based on a short story ‘Piano’ by ANARA AKHUNDOVA
For this film we renovated a room in an abandoned school in Utrecht. Clearing the debris and (many) dead creatures, we painstakingly build the feeling of a warm coset nest of a home. With just a hint of a cold draft and lost memories, the wonderful melody and gentle visuals set the tone for this heartwarming story.
